Time limit:
This is a fixed-term employment relationship as part of a pregnancy replacement - with the option of a permanent position at a later date.
Specialist area of responsibility:
- Asset accounting
- Recognition and measurement of assets and liabilities (e.g. provisions, special items, prepaid expenses and deferred income)
- Recognition of current business transactions
- Maintenance of master data and execution of depreciation runs
- Planning and carrying out the inventory, including updating the inventory guidelines and instructions
- Financial planning and annual financial statements
- Participation in budget and financial planning, if applicable
- Preparation of annual financial statements, in particular the overall balance sheet
- Participation in the calculation of fees
- Advice and support for the specialist departments
- Advice on the eligibility of business transactions for capitalization and recognition as liabilities
- Conducting internal training courses on accounting and tax topics
- Tax tasks in local government
- Assessment of tax issues with special consideration of § 2b UStG and other types of tax (corporation tax, trade tax, etc.)
- Participation in the tax optimization of administrative actions
- Design, documentation and monitoring of tax-relevant processes
- Coordination and preparation of tax returns and review of tax assessments
- Processing of other tax issues (e.g. building deduction taxation)
Personality:
- Completed vocational training in administration or training as an accountant (m/f/d) or comparable qualification
- Service orientation and pleasure in dealing with people
- Ability to work in a team
- Assertiveness and organizational skills
- Sense of responsibility
- Independent and autonomous work
- Flexibility and resilience
- Category B driving license
- Confident handling of MS Office and willingness to get involved in new IT applications
