Once a year, the roads belong entirely to cyclists, inline skaters, and hikers—the Südeifeltour offers a unique way to experience the enchanting cultural landscape of the Enz Valley: car-free, close to nature, and packed with fun and entertainment!
The “Südeifeltour” covers just under 30 kilometers through one of the most beautiful regions of the Eifel—the Enz Valley, from Arzfeld via Zweifelscheid, Neuerburg, Sinspelt, and Mettendorf to Enzen. Whether you’re out for a sporty ride or a leisurely family outing—there’s a pace for everyone here.
Between Arzfeld and Neuerburg, the route winds idyllically along the former railway embankment of the Enz Cycle Path—featuring special highlights such as the impressive tunnels. From Neuerburg on, the road is yours! That’s because there’s no car traffic all the way to Enzen.
And it’s not just nature that has a lot to offer: the six participating communities have a variety of activities in store, featuring music, children’s entertainment, and plenty of good cheer. A wide array of culinary delights—from savory to sweet—ensures that every taste is catered to.
The diversity, the scenery, and the special sense of community are what make the “Südeifeltour” so special year after year. The municipalities of Arzfeld, Bitburger Land, and Südeifel, along with many dedicated local organizations and hosts, look forward to welcoming lots of guests!
So: Put on your helmet, grab your family and friends, and let’s go!
