Among other things, the accident prevention regulations require that the stability of gravestones be inspected once a year.
This year’s inspections at the participating municipal cemeteries in the Südeifel municipal association are scheduled to take place starting July 21, 2026 , and will be conducted by a certified and independent inspector.
The authorized users of the graves in question will receive the results by mail in the days following the inspection and will be asked to restore the affected headstones to a stable condition within a specified time frame.
