Usage regulations for the DFB mini playing fields in the South Eifel municipality

§ Purpose of use

1. The DFB mini playing fields at the Mettendorf and Bollendorf elementary school are open for use as sports fields in accordance with the following provisions.
2. It is not permitted to use the pitches for purposes other than those mentioned in paragraph 1.
3. The DFB mini pitches are maintained as a public facility by the Verbandsgemeinde Südeifel.
4. Use of the DFB mini playing fields is at your own risk.

§ Beneficial owners

1. The DFB mini-pitches are available to elementary school for sports lessons.
2. They are also used by local sports clubs for their training activities.
3. For children and young people, the facility is available as a soccer pitch.
4. Other uses of the sports facility are only permitted with the prior consent of the Südeifel local authority.

§ Times of use

1. During school hours, elementary school have priority for the use of the DFB mini playing fields as part of sports lessons and supervision times from Monday to Friday from 8.00 am to 4.15 pm.
2. Outside of these times, the mini playing field is available to children and young people until 9 p.m., at most until nightfall, provided that this does not interfere with the training activities of the sports clubs.
3. The access doors remain unlocked outside of school hours.

§ Provisions on use

1. The improper use of the facility, in particular the parking/riding of bicycles, mopeds, motorcycles, e-scooters and other equipment, is prohibited.
2. Smoking on the entire premises and the consumption of alcoholic beverages and food are prohibited.
3. After each use, waste of all kinds must be completely removed by the user.
4. Animals may not be brought onto the site.
5. Soccer boots with plastic studs or studs are the optimum footwear; metal studs are not permitted. Sports shoes with flat soles are only suitable to a limited extent, as these do not grip directly into the rubber granules and the turf fibers are pressed down over a large area. The turf must not be walked on with pointed or sharp-edged heels, as this can damage the turf blades and the entire system.
6. The mini playing fields are closed in snow and ice due to weather conditions.
7. Offensive behavior, e.g. urinating on the premises, is prohibited.
8. Climbing on or over the perimeter boards and the ball catch net is prohibited.
9. Deliberately shooting at the ball catching net is prohibited.

§ Violations of the user regulations

Violations of the rules of use may be punished by expulsion from the premises. In the event of criminal acts, the statutory provisions shall apply.

§ Entry into force

These user regulations enter into force on May 27, 2025.
