In recent weeks, the police in the southern Eifel region have recorded a conspicuous increase in thefts from vehicles. What is particularly worrying is that the vehicles concerned were not locked at the time of the theft.
In the course of this afternoon (22.07.2025), the federal highway 257 between the Irrel-Zweikreuz junction and Echternacherbrück will be reopened to traffic.
On the occasion of the 120th anniversary of the MV "Lyra" 1905 Ferschweiler e.V., the Ferschweiler area will be fully closed to road traffic from 4.30 p.m. to approx. 6.30 p.m. on 21.06.2025 for the organization of a star march.
